Author and Creator, Haley Bush
Growing up on the Northside of Jacksonville, Florida, was considered as the lower-class domain of town. The neighborhood consisted of wondering alcoholics, gun fire ringing out during the night, burglar bars on the windows and doors just to keep the family and home protected was her norm. All of this was just on the outside, but the inside was not much better.
Her parents were in the same home but not on the same page when it came to raising their children. Most times, Haley felt forgotten and was always directed to go to her room. She was sent there so often that she created a safe haven of sorts. Her imagination was endless!
In that room, Haley was a real ballet dancer, dancing to a symphony and preforming on a stage to an immeasurable crowd. She was a professional singer with the premiere voice that everyone wanted to hear. She was also a teacher sharing knowledge and gifting encouragement to her inner self. In that room, Haley was loved, appreciated, wanted, and even supported. Though magical, this room became the catalyst for anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, hopelessness, and so much more.
She discovered that she suffered from what is called, "Age regression." A term she deeply personified during her seven years of Mental Health Counseling. Haley found that age regression had affected most of her early adulthood. She was finally able to set the little girl free inside of her and give her rest, peace, and freedom while the adult moved forward in victory and in success.
Haley is now a successful, powerful, motivated woman of God who has helped so many others along their paths to finding their start to Rebuilding, Restoring, and Renewing their lives!
"My story is to simply bring about awareness to others, who are stuck and cannot see their way through. There is no shame is saying 'I need help'. The shame is allowing yourself to stay in the same position knowing that it doesn't have to be that way and that you are not the only one. Silence is the biggest destroyer of relationships and moving forward. Find your voice for it matters in more ways than you know".
